1-800-GOT-JUNK? Attendance Policy (copy) (copy)

ShareResponsesDuplicate✎ Edit
Regular attendance and punctuality are vital to maintain high levels of productivity and achieve company goals. We do recognize that staff occasionally become ill or need to miss work. The purpose of this policy is to ensure employees provide notice of such absences.
Example: Team member calls in for any reason on the morning of a scheduled shift and doesn’t give OPS proper amount of time to plan the day OR OPS is unable to get a hold of team member (could lead to no call/no show)
Example: Team member fails to notify OPS of their absence and goes an entire workday with no communication of the situation. This will lead to Employee being removed from all duties pending a review (OPS/Management)
Teammates receiving corrective action under this policy are expected to improve their attendance and punctuality. Failure to improve and sustain improvement may result in the employee’s receiving additional correction, up to including termination decided by management.
Teammates taking leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act or other state or federal protected leave are expected to provide notice of absences in accordance with company policy. Failure to provide notice absent extenuating circumstances may result in discipline.
